Fostering and Assistance of Wildlife Needing Aid Public Information and Open Day Saturday 4th September - Metricup Bird Park
FAWNA will hold an Information and Open Day at Metricup Bird Park on Saturday 4th September. This location is convenient for our members and members of the public in both Busselton and Margaret River
Please come along for a prompt start at 2:00 pm and enjoy the fellowship. It will be an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences in a unique setting.
Free entry to FAWNA members; gold coin donation requested from members of the public. Members please bring a plate for afternoon tea. Tea & coffee will be provided for all.

PROGRAM
2:00 - 3:15 - BIRDS.
Nancy (Metricup Bird Park) - what action to take when you find an injured bird.
Mel (Dunsborough Veterinary Hospital) practical demonstration - strapping a bird's wing.
3:15 - 3:45 -AFTERNOON TEA;
Networking - time to chat and socialise.
3:45 - 4:30 - MAKING A POSSUM DREY
Ian (FAWNA) practical session - building a possum drey from a coir door mat
The day has been arranged for sharing information in a sociable setting with time to talk about problems or interests and to ask
questions about wildlife caring. It will assist catering if you can indicate attendance by calling Ian on 0427 407 305 who can also be
